It is not essential that you quit caffeine for this cleanse, however many of you may want to try. Caffeine is very stimuatimg to the nervous system and can be stressful for the body of you have any variation of adrenal fatigue.
We recommend eating every 90 minutes and eating snacks consisting of FRUIT + CELERY (or other sodium rich foods like dulse, barley grass juice powder and spinach). This will keep your adrenals happy!
As a coffee alternative we recommend Yerbe Mate. It still contains caffeine but is more balanced on the body.
For those of you looking to quit caffeine, encorporate licorice root in the mornings for an energy boost.
